Lucie Guerre has been writing for as long as she could hold a pen in her hand. Her imagination is her weapon. She has written her poetry on the backs of old chemistry tests and scribbled novels on receipt paper. She always felt as though she belonged to a different era, loving the sound of a typewriter and jazz on a platter. She is inspired by many female authors such as Jeanette Winterson, Erin Morgenstern, Chloe Benjamin, and others, but she finds herself drawn again and again to the authors of the Beat era: Jack Kerouac, Allen Ginsberg, Diane di Prima.
